Call for Presentations

Ritme, the official distributor of Stata, and the Faculty of Economics and Business of KU Leuven are excited to present the 2018 Belgian Stata User Group Meeting.

The meeting provides Stata users from across Belgium and the world the opportunity to share experiences with the software and information on new commands. Anyone interested in Stata is welcome. The conference language will be English. The User Meeting will take place on Tuesday September 18th including a keynote by Enrique Pinzon, senior econometrician at StataCorp. Call for presentations

Does your research rely on Stata? Do you have insights that would enlighten colleagues in your field? Prepare your abstract for the 2018 Belgian Stata Users Group Meeting. The participation of early career scholars and postgraduate researchers is positively encouraged. Presentation topics include but are not limited to:

·        discussions of user-written Stata commands;

·        case studies of research or teaching using Stata;

·        proposals for the training workshops on Monday September 17th.

Submitting your presentation

Please email the title and abstract of your presentation to Nick Deschacht (nick.deschacht@kuleuven.be) before April 27th. Notifications on acceptance will be within two weeks after the deadline and the final program will be posted in June. There will be no participation fee for presenters.
