My story at the Faculty of Economics and Business, KU Leuven

"It has been quite a journey to study the BSc in Business Administration programme at KU Leuven. I came to study here primarily because of the top-quality education, but I got so much more in terms of study experience."

"Firstly the incredible international environment made my time in Brussels most enjoyable. I have met people from all over the world, each with a different background, mind-set, and goals. Such a mix not only allows you to make new friends, it also shapes you into a more culturally and socially aware person."

"Next, I want to point out the practical aspect of the programme. From the first year onwards we were working together on real-life projects in teams, which challenged us to immediately put the newly acquired theoretical knowledge to use. These projects also greatly improved our communication and organisational skills, which made us stronger team players. I particularly enjoyed working on the project where we were to organise a charitable event from scratch. Everything was up to our team: the idea, organisation, and execution - so it was rewarding to see the event come together successfully."

"There are also many activities to explore as a student, both study- and work-related. You can participate in seminars and guest lectures on campus with speakers from top companies. The yearly job and an internship fair has a lot of companies present as well. You can go on exchange in the third year and choose from a really wide variety of destinations. Student organisations are very active as well with many parties and business events."

"As for the daily life in Brussels, city is rather easy to adapt to. It is a very culturally diverse place, so I did not really feel like a foreigner. Of course, there were some challenges in the beginning, like finding accommodation and just getting used to living on your own, but now Brussels feels comfortable to me. There are a lot of cool places to visit, so waste no time and explore!"

"Overall, studying at KU Leuven is both an exciting and challenging experience. During my time here I have developed as a person, met people who are now close friends, and of course gained lots of useful theoretical and practical knowledge."
