My story at the Faculty of Economics and Business, KU Leuven

“I am Ayoub and I am originally from Bouznika, Morocco. When deciding on my undergraduate degree I had three criteria in mind: a renowned faculty, a challenging curriculum, and an international student body. The Bachelor of Business Administration at KU Leuven’s Brussels Campus was an evident choice.”

“Having majored in physics in high school I was completely oblivious to management sciences and the BBA helped me turn that around. The programme will challenge you in the best way possible, you will hit the ground running in multiple subjects such as accounting and economics, and you will have great professors by your side who are always willing to help you succeed. Your classmates will also be an invaluable asset during your journey. Students at KU Leuven are very conversable and I encourage you to immerse yourself in the community and make life-lasting friendships.”

“I highly recommend that you start learning Dutch and French as soon as you arrive in Belgium. The university offers courses in both languages and you can supplement your knowledge by taking extra courses virtually free of charge! This will make it considerably easier for you to find internships or permanent positions.”

“I am currently doing my MBA at the faculty’s Antwerp campus, where the department of financial management is. The university upholds the same standards across campuses and I’m really enjoying the programme. Antwerp is a beautiful and vibrant city but I like the food in Brussels better. If you are on the Brussels campus, try the goat cheese sandwich from Busy Bee. It’s one step away from campus and they have some of the best sandwiches I have ever tasted.”

“If you have questions about any of the programmes or life in Brussels or Antwerp feel free to reach out to me and I will be happy to assist you.”
